Christian Pulisic Calls Out U.S. Fans Following Win

Christian Pulisic proved to be the catalyst yet again in the USMNT win over Morocco in a friendly on Wednesday night. But after the match, Pulisic still had to get something off his chest.

The rising star isn’t happy with the amount of fans who showed out to the match.

“I’m not super happy with the amount of Americans here, however that works out, if I’m being completely honest,” Pulisic told ESPN. “But thanks to the ones who did come.”

To Christian Pulisic’s point, the match took place in Cincinnati, and throughout the game, pictures of empty seats all over the arena went viral.

Christian Pulisic added: “I mean, it was a great win; we’re really happy. We started really well, got that early goal and yeah, just a really strong performance. But yeah, it’s nice to be back in America and playing again.”

The U.S pulled off another strong effort — beating Morocco by a sound 3-0 margin.

Hopefully as Christian Pulisic and the young US team continues to grow, more fans will be showing out in support of soccer.

However, it has to be noted that the US has failed to provide much excitement in the sport until now. These things tend to take some time.
