The Seattle Seahawks May Have Just Leaked A Baker Mayfield Trade

Is Baker Mayfield on his way to the Seattle Seahawks?

Just last week, it was reported that the Seahawks were back in the mix for Mayfield following the news that the Browns might be willing to eat half of the QB’s salary in the deal.

Well, even though the Seahawks have still not announced a trader for Baker Mayfield, they might have given a telling hint that one is int he works.

Briefly over the weekend, the Seahawks’ official team website was selling a Mayfield jersey.

Check it out:

Earlier in the offseason, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll tried to quiet the Baker Mayfield rumors when hyping up his current options, Drew Lock and Geno Smith.

“The games are going to be important, and everything will be important,” Carroll said of the QB competition. “It’s going to be a real battle. It’s going to be really an exciting time for our team, for those guys in particular, and for our people watching. I’m pumped about it. I really am.”

It would seem like the Seahawks are still monitoring the Baker Mayfield situation. But for now, a trade has not surfaced.
