Potential Amazon Sideline Reporter For Thursday Night Football Has Been Revealed

Looks like Amazon is trying to find its very own Erin Andrews.

According to NY Post, Amazon is looking at ABC news reporter Kaylee Hartung to be its NFL sideline reporter for Thursday night games. Kaylee would be teamed up with Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit as part of Amazon’s new Thursday night package.

Hartung joined ABC in 2019 after a two-year stint at CNN. She also was a reporter at ESPN for five years.

ABC news reporter Kaylee Hartung has emerged as the leading candidate to be the sideline reporter on Amazon’s Prime Video’s exclusive “Thursday Night Football” coverage this fall, The Post has learned.

Hartung, 36, would be on the main broadcast with play-by-player Al Michaels and analyst Kirk Herbstreit.

While Hartung joined ABC in 2019 from CNN, she has a sports background having been a reporter for five years at ESPN. She worked on the College Football Playoff, the College World Series and appeared on the SEC and Longhorn networks.”

Amazon also is reportedly considering Kay Adams and Pat McAfee for key roles on Thursday Night.

It should be a fantastic football season with all the broadcasting changes.
