NFL Ripped Over Deshaun Watson Investigation Following Trevor Bauer’s Suspension

Like Deshaun Watson, it appeared that Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer was out of the woods when the criminal charges of sexual assault against him were dropped. But this was not the case.

On Friday, the MLB announced that it was handing down a massive two year suspension for Trevor Bauer following their own, separate investigation into the matter.

Shortly after the Trevor Bauer suspension was announced, people on social media were quick to notice the stark difference with how the NFL has handled the Deshaun Watson situation.

While Trevor Bauer will now face two years away from baseball (unless he wins his appeal), Deshaun Watson signed an extension from the Cleveland Browns to become one of the highest paid players in the entire league.

The NFL recently revealed that they were still investigating Watson.

Sure, it’s hard to really tell what the NFL and MLB found in their investigations into both matters, but it’s still pretty easy to think about the differences between the two cases.

Regardless, Deshaun Watson should feel a little uneasy following the Trevor Bauer news.
