Herschel Walker Forced to Confirm How Many Children He Actually Has

A day after confirming he has a 10-year-old son, U.S. Senate candidate and former NFL player, Herschel Walker,  acknowledged fathering two additional children he hasn’t spoken about publicly.

It all started this week when a report in the Daily Beast claimed Walker fathered a secret son more than a decade ago.

Via Daily Beast:

“For years, former football star turned Republican senatorial candidate Herschel Walker has expressed an enormous pride and love for his adult son, while taking a principled stand against fatherless households and deadbeat dads—specifically in the Black community.

“And I want to apologize to the African-American community, because the fatherless home is a major, major problem,” Walker said in a September 2020 interview, adding that he had been “like a father to some of those kids that had never had fathers.”

The month before, Walker—who co-parented his 22-year-old son, Christian with both his ex-wife and current wife—told right-wing internet personalities Diamond and Silk that if you have “a child with a woman, even if you have to leave that woman
 you don’t leave the child.”

What Walker hasn’t publicly acknowledged is that he has a second son, who has apparently been estranged from his biological father since his birth a decade ago.

The son, whose name The Daily Beast is withholding out of privacy concerns, has grown up more than 1,500 miles from Walker’s Texas home. And the mother, whose name we are also withholding for privacy reasons, had to take Walker to court a year after giving birth in order to secure a declaration of paternity and child support.”

Walker not only addressed the report of the one child, but he came clean on all his children.

“I have four children,” Mr. Walker said in a statement to The New York Times. “Three sons and a daughter. They’re not ‘undisclosed’ — they’re my kids. I support them all and love them all. I’ve never denied my children.”

He added: “Saying I hide my children because I don’t discuss them with reporters to win a campaign? That’s outrageous. I can take the heat, that’s politics — but leave my kids alone.”

In the past, Walker has publicly criticized absentee fathers in Black families

“And I want to apologize to the African American community, because the fatherless home is a major, major problem,” Walker told conservative activist Charlie Kirk in a 2020 interview. In another interview that year with conservative media personalities Diamond and Silk, Walker said that men who have “a child with a woman, even if you have to leave that woman … you don’t leave the child.”

Herschel wanted to be in politics,  and this is exactly what happens when you’re in a politcal race.

Herschel better clean out anymore skeletons he has in his closet.
