Everyone’s Confused Over Adam Schefter’s Deleted Tweet About Danny Amendola’s Retirement

Adam Schefter gets paid to tweet breaking stories.

And once again he messed up. ESPN’s #1 NFL reporter fumbled his latest breaking scoop, and the man known as Schefty quickly tried to delete his twitter mistake. The ESPN NFL news breaker got caught submitting one of his “scoops” for approval to its source before publishing it. At the top of the announcement, he wrote “Work?”

Which is tough to exactly figure out, but we can only assume he was asking whomever if the copy on the tweet was good to go.

Twitter went at him, because that’s what Twitter does.

Not the first time Schefter has made a mistake when tweeting out. Last year he referred to general manager of the Commanders, Bruce Allen, as “Mr. Editor” in an email exchange while seeking Allen’s approval on a story.

Schefter really needs to stop messing up, he gets paid way too much to be making such careless mistakes.
