Will we see Ben Simmons in the postseason?
When speaking ahead of the Nets play-in game on Tuesday nights, Brooklyn head coach Steve Nash made it sound less-than-likely that we’ll see Simmons on the court in the near future.
According to Nash, Simmons still has not even ramped up past the early stages of his rehab.
Steve Nash says Ben Simmons hasn’t started sprinting and hasn’t progressed beyond 1-0 workouts yet.

Steve Nash’s comments come as a bit of a surprise, being as Shams Charania reported earlier today that Ben Simmons was likely to make a return for the Nets’ postseason run.
“[There’s] optimism Nets star Ben Simmons could make debut during first round of the NBA playoffs as long as his progression continues in strengthening his legs and back,” Charania said. “Simmons has been ramping up his workload and is expected to continue doing so.”
It appears that either Shams was a little off in his report, or Steve Nash is trying to use a little gamesmanship prior to the playoffs.
Either way, we still have no idea when we’ll see Ben Simmons on the court next.
