LeBron James’ April Fools Joke Comes Back To Bite Him

LeBron James probably should’ve just chilled on April fools Day.

Instead, the Lakers superstar took to social media to (jokingly) say that his plans were to shut it down for the rest of the season to recover from some injuries.

Now, LeBron James is actually forced out of play just seven days later — after his Lakers have been officially eliminated from the postseason.

Immediately, LeBron was mocked for the dumb April fools joke that turned into his reality.

Despite LeBron James making a run for a scoring title, the Lakers never found their rhythm this season. And now they’ll be left wondering what their options are with the big 3 of LeBron, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook that’s clearly not going to lead to success in the future.

And LeBron will likely be left wondering if the situation in LA is even salvageable at this point.

Either way, LeBron James should probably just sit out Aril Fools Day in the future.
