Terrell Owens Slammed Baker Mayfield After OBJ Reached Super Bowl On Sunday

There are many storylines for the upcoming Super Bowl. Joe Burrow’s first trip, Sean McVay’s second shot to win his fist ring, Matthew Stafford’s redemption story, etc. But perhaps the story that will garner the most attention over the next two weeks is Odell Beckham Jr.

After being deemed a locker room distraction from his days with the Browns and Giants, OBJ has flourished in McVay’s offensive system. And in recent weeks, he’s developed a great rapport with Matthew Stafford — leading to the star receiver looking like the guy who made our jaws drop on a weekly basis when he first broke into the league.

When Hall of Fame receiver Terrell Owens joined the droves of former players and fans congratulating Odell Beckham Jr. on his success story, he made sure to throw Browns QB Baker Mayfield right under the bus.

In the NFC Championship Game against the Niners, Odell Beckham Jr. channeled his inner T.O. He caught nine passes for 113 yards and has proved himself to be an absolutely deadly combination with MVP candidate, Cooper Kupp.

OBJ’s ability to force his way out of Cleveland has led to instant results. And for the Rams, they certainly aren’t getting the version of Odell that we saw with Baker Mayfield in Cleveland.

Standing in the way of OBJ and his first ring will be Joe Burrow’s Cinderella Bengals, who somehow fought back to steal yesterday’s AFC Championship from the heavily-favored Chiefs.

Should be a lot of fun.
