The Deshaun Watson drama continues on, and there seems to be no end in sight to the stalemate between the QB and his team. Watson wants out, and the Texans refuse to trade him. Watson reportedly met with his new head coach, and Watson reiterated his stance he has no plans of playing for the Texans.
Per sources, Texans QB Deshaun Watson met with new Texans head coach David Culley last Friday. In that meeting Watson reiterated that he wants to be traded and told Culley he has no intention of playing for the Texans again. No change from Watson's end. He remains dug in.

Twitter reacted to the news:
Deshaun Watson has plenty of leverage. Those who think otherwise donβt understand that if the Texans donβt trade him they will devalue their own asset. This trade has to happen if the Texans want to maximize on this top tier player. #DeshaunWatson https://t.co/eG3K8sR1ku

Got my popcorn ready waiting to see where he goes. Imagine Watson getting traded to the Jets. You would have our boy @JoshAllenQB Tua, Cam Newton, and Watson in the AFC East division. That would make for some great football #GoBills #BillsMafia #WatsonWatch https://t.co/xHv8E0sL3e

If the Texans don’t take that as a message they need to grant Watson his trade request, not sure what it’s going to take. We know the Texans are going to take their time figuring out what to do next.
