Colin Cowherd is back on TV! Let the hot takes ensue. Cowherd had been off his post on FS1’s “The Herd” after doctors found a blood clot in his lung. Luckily, Cowherd was healthy enough to return today, and he has a theory on where J.J. Watt should land in free agency.
Cowherd thinks Watt playing for the Green Bay Packers makes “perfect” sense.
“Green Bay needs to create some momentum and go for it,” Cowherd said of J.J. Watt on his show. “You owe it to Aaron Rodgers.”

J.J. Watt is nearing the end of his career, but he is still an impact player on the defensive side of the ball. He’s also a leader who could bring a championship type of culture into the Packers locker room. At 37-years of age, Watt remains a grinder.
Oh, and he grew up a die-hard Packers fan.
Colin Cowherd has a point that Watt joining Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers makes a lot of sense on many different levels. Sure enough, it is being reported that Watt has received interest from the Packers…as well as the Browns.

The Packers would likely need to clear up some cap space to get a guy of J.J. Watt’s caliber. That is, unless he’s willing to take a hometown discount. Either way, I could certainly see a scenario where J.J. Watt is donning green and yellow next season.
