Meet Moises Caicedo, The Teenage Sensation Wanted By Chelsea And Manchester United

Moises Caicedo picked up a pass from Ángel Mena after just 15 minutes of play to score an absolutely exquisite opener for Ecuador in their 4-2 win over Uruguay.

He was only 18 at that time but he became the first player born in the 21st century to ever score in a CONMEBOL World Cup qualifier.

And of course Ecuador’s youngest to ever do it. Pristine.

Now, Manchester United and Chelsea will certainly not sleep on this talent and are already prioritizing his capture.

According to a recent report from The Sun, the Red Devils are believed to be ahead of their rivals, having reportedly handed the midfielder a five-year contract.

Most importantly, it helps that Caicedo wants to be the best he can be.

“My challenge is one day to be in the elite of world football. I have proposed this to myself, my dream is to play in the big leagues,” Caicedo told Global Digital TV in a recent interview.

“I really like the game of N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba, and I learn a lot from them every time I see them, and always try to do what they do, that’s why they are there.”

It is a sweet thing Caicedo’s already modelling his game on the best ones in the business, and you have to think he can cut it.

Then, you have to really, really have something special to have the likes of United and Chelsea jostling for your signature, right?
