Jackie MacMullan Trending for Calling Kyrie Irving NBA Owner’s ‘Property’

Say it ain’t so Jackie Mac. Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving is on a leave of absence from his team. Still no one outside of the team knows exactly what’s going on with him. The media is having a field day with Kyrie, and some are genuinely upset. ESPN’s Jackie MacMullan has her thoughts on Kyrie’s situation, and according to her, he’s a piece of property.

MacMullen joined the Ryen Russillo’s podcast to talk about Kyrie’s absence, and she told a story about the time she once got into an argument with Kyrie over how the NBA draft worked.

Sometimes it’s okay to think something, but when you say it aloud, it comes off very wrong. Clearly NBA players are employees of their team, not property.  Jackie should know how that comes across.
