Antonio Brown is finally eligible to play NFL football again. It didn’t take too long for him to find a home, either. In fact, he was already on the field for the Buccaneers when they got trounced by the Saints on Sunday Night Football this weekend. However, there appears to be new development in his ongoing sexual assault case in Florida civil court.
Britney Taylor seeks permission to amend her sexual assault/rape lawsuit against Antonio Brown to include a request for punitive damages. We will discuss on PFT PM and an article will be posted after show. Tune in to @peacockTV.

Britney Taylor has filed a motion to amend her original suit against Antonio Brown, according to Pro Football Talk. Adding this claim will increase the amount of money Taylor could potentially make during this suit. Taylor does not wish to amend anything else from what her original lawsuit contained.
The original affidavit concludes with this testimony from Taylor: “He then forced me onto his bed and pushed my face into the mattress. He pinned me down and physically overpowered me so that I could not get away or fight back. I told him no and begged him to stop, but Brown lifted by dress and raped me as I was protesting and crying. I never consented to any intimate contact or sexual intercourse with Brown — he raped me.”
If this case goes against Antonio Brown, he could see further disciplinary action or lose support of fans and teams. This time, I wouldn’t expect him to see the field for a very long time. Brown’s attorneys recently filed a motion to bring the case to in-person trial, to avoid the risks of an online broadcast being recorded, or to pivot to a non-jury trial should they be required to go virtual during the pandemic. We’ll see how this all plays out, though. These things take time.
