Trevor Lawrence is getting paid, and being the #1 pick in the NFL draft pays well. The next big step for Lawrence will be to sign his rookie contract, and according to Field Yates of ESPN, the figures for his deal have been set. Lawrence’s contract will surpass that of last year’s No.1 pick Joe Burrow

Per Over the Cap, he’s projected to have base salary amounts of $660,000, $2,332,436, $4,004,872, $5,677,308, respectively, over the course of his four-year contract that has a fifth-year option.

Lawrence should sign on the dotted line relatively soon, then it’s time to focus on football for the long haired Jaguars QB.
