The Chicago Bears’ Massive Offer For Russell Wilson Has Been Revealed

The Chicago Bears went for it all this offseason, and completely struck out.

The Bears’ main objective over the offseason was to fill their void at the quarterback position. After trying for Russell Wilson and Deshaun Watson via trade, they ultimately settled on signing veteran Andy Dalton

Fans aren’t happy.

While the Bears front office will be (rightfully) scrutinized over their inability to fill the most important position in all of sports with a viable option, you can’t say they didn’t try.

The Bears reportedly offered a massive package in an effort to land Russell Wilson. According to Dan Patrick, the Bears offered Seattle three first rounds picks, a third round pick, and two unnamed starters for Russell Wilson.

The Seahawks obviously didn’t budge, and now the Bears will remain in quarterback purgatory, where they have somehow been for the past 70 years.

It’s tough being a Bears fan right now. I mean, Andy Dalton? Really?

Maybe the Bears will turn their attention to drafting a quarterback after striking out on Russell Wilson.
