‘The Bachelorette’ Community Seems To Think The Show Is Looking For NFL Players For Next Season, Fueling Wild Conspiracy

“The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” are reality television series that seem to have quite the pipeline to the NFL, with former players and practice squad guys often joining the show. So much so, that people seem to think there’s a correlation with the NFL and the show. The theory, started by a ‘Bachelor’ podcast “Game of Roses“, claims that the Republican Party teams up with the NFL to ensure that ‘The Bachelor’ remains profitable.

Somewhere along the way, the NFL and the GOP have some stake in the show.

To add to this conspiracy, a Reddit thread jokes that “The Bachelorette” is actively looking for some NFL guys for its next season.

“Producers trying to find enough ex-NFL players for two upcoming seasons of The Bachelorette,” one Reddit user posted along with a Spongebob meme.

Some of the comments on the thread were pretty funny.

“Just gotta be on the practice squad to get that coveted ‘pro football player’ job title in BN haha,” one person commented.

“From the past ~5 seasons, there’s been: Matt James, Dale Moss, Tyler Cameron, Colton Underwood, Uzoma (Eazy) Nwachukwu, Jason Foster, Jordan Rodgers… all were either on squad lists, practice teams, or did tryouts for NFL teams, but that would have made my post title too long :),” another added.

Is it possible that “The Bachelor” community is onto something with this correlation between the NFL and the show? Probably not.

But we can let them have their fun, anyways.
