Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Ben Simmons’ name is expected to be involved in trade talks this off season due to his erratic play in this season’s playoffs. After failing to improve his shot, the process is no longer being trusted. If the Sixers want to compete against contenders, they have to upgrade their roster.
This would mean trading their All-Star guard.
Now it appears the 76ers are open to trading Simmons.
Via Shams:
“The Philadelphia 76ers have opened up trade conversations surrounding three-time All-Star Ben Simmons and have engaged with teams.”

Ben Simmons needs a fresh start, and if you put him with the right players, his lack of shooting might not be such a factor. But one thing’s for sure, you can’t be passing up open layups. That’s something in his head.
Hopefully the Sixers can find an All-Star in return sooner rather than later.
No one wants this to drag on for months on end.
