Stephen A. Smith Sounds Off On Nav Bhatia Inducted In To The NBA Hall Of Fame

Stephen A. Smith is always going to give you his opinion, even if you don’t care to hear about it. Smith was asked his stance on Raptors superfan Nav Bhatia being the first fan inducted in to the NBA Hall of Fame.

This may be one of the first times I have actually agreed with Smith on something. Smith went to say “Hell NO, how do we define what a great fan is?” It’s definitely something that will raise some eyebrows and have people asking why and how are Jack Nicholson or Spike Lee in there as well?

Nav Bhatia is well-known to the Toronto Raptors fans and has reportedly not missed a home game since the team’s existence. In 1999, Bhatia was dubbed the Raptors’ superfan by two-time NBA Champion and former Raptors executive vice president Isaiah Thomas.

Bhatia was also the grand marshal for the 2019 Toronto Raptors championship parade. He responded to Stephen A. Smith’s video reaction of his induction.

Obviously this is the first of many to come of fans being inducted to the Hall of Fame. It will be interesting to see who is next and if there is certain criteria that is being looked at prior to the induction process.
