Linsanity is Back in the NBA

Jeremy Lin is back in the NBA after a short stint with the Chinese Basketball Association.

It was later revealed Lin will play for Golden State’s G-League squad, the Santa Cruz Warriors.

After averaging 11.6 points and 4.3 assists for his career in the NBA, Lin is fresh off a 22.3-point, 5.7-rebound, 5.6-assist season for the Beijing Ducks.

Now, Lin is returning home to the team that got him his start. After going undrafted in 2010, Golden State offered him a two-year contract. Lin suited up for 29 games, averaging 2.6 points. The following season, he joined New York. The rest is history for Linsanity.

Lin left the NBA for the CBA after winning a championship in Toronto. He played 23 games and averaged 7 points per contest.

Golden State is thin in their guard roation with Klay Thompson out for the year with a right leg injury. Currently, the Warriors are projected to have 6-foot-7-inch forward Kelly Oubre slot in at shooting guard for Thompson.

The Warriors starting lineup looks like Curry and Oubre in the back court with Wiggins and Green at the forward spots. Wiseman, Looney or Chriss will start at center.

We’ll see if Lin will be able to get some playing time in for the Warriors to round out his career.
