Timberwolves Players Trashed For Trolling Grizzlies Prior To Comeback Win

It’s safe to say Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies got the last laugh on Tuesday night.

While the Timberwolves were cruising all game long, they made sure the Grizzlies heard about it.

At first, it was noted irritant Patrick Beverley who tried using the “too small” hand gesture when he made a floater over Morant down the stretch of the game.

Then, after hitting a huge three late in the fourth quarter, Karl-Anthony Towns made the mistake of “shushing” the crowd — indicating that the game was over.

All over the web, Patrick Beverly, Karl-Anthony Towns and the rest of the Timberwolves were trolled when Ja Morant hit a game-winning lay-in with one second remaining.

Despite looking pretty stupid in Game 5, the Timberwolves will still have time to right the ship.

They’ll now head to Minnesota down 3-2 in the series, needing a serious rally to force a Game 7 and keep the series alive.

However, it’s clear they awakened a beast by trying to get under Ja Morant’s skin on Tuesday night. The superstar finished with 30 points to go along with 13 rebounds and nine assists.

Next game, Patrick Beverley and Karl-Anthony Towns should focus more on their on-court performance rather than the gestures that have come back to bite them throughout the series.
