Social Media Reacts To Michigan Coach Juwan Howard Consoling Kennedy Chandler After Tennessee Loss

Juwan Howard may get some angry people after him when he punched Wisconsin Badger coach Greg Gard last month, but this month he is being praised for his actions.

Michigan Wolverines coach Juwan Howard was seen consoling Tennessee Volunteers player Kennedy Chandler after the 11 seed Wolverines knocked out the 3 seed Volunteers on Saturday.

Fans were quick to take social media to say how they thought about it all, and supposedly, the two go way back.

Many fans shared their praises for the coach who had just been suspended for his post-game antics last month.

Apparently, Coach Howard’s son Jett Howard has known Chandler since the 4th grade.

While many fans may be upset over a busted bracket, this is some of the players last chances to try and cut down the net and showcase their skills for the NBA. It is no doubt that many of these players, especially ones attached to bigger name schools, have the hopes of getting signed to play professionally.

While many praised the coach, many were still not quick to forget his previous antics.

Chandler scored 19 points, had 9 assists and added 4 rebounds in his 37 minutes of work on Saturday.

No doubt fans will have their opinions and one right doesn’t eliminate his wrong, but it was a nice gesture from the coach who is taking his 11th seeded Michigan Wolverines to the Sweet 16.
