Is the Russell Wilson era in Seattle coming to an end?
Not for at least another season according to reports.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Seahawks’ officials remain committed to Wilson as the long-term quarterback and there are no plans to move him this offseason.
NBC Sports’ Peter King, also wrote today that there are “no signs” Seattle trades Wilson.
The @NFLGameDay Notebook with @MikeGarafolo & @TomPelissero: Why Carson Wentz could deliver a W for the #Eagles; Don’t assume the #Seahawks will trade Russell Wilson in 2022; Could Taylor Heinicke be WFT's future starter?; #Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire should be good to go. pic.twitter.com/l0ABr9UoDK

Wilson is under contract through 2023 and Seattle could apply the franchise tag on him in the 2024 NFL offseason.
Sounds like the battle to keep Wilson happy in Seattle is already beginning.
Whether Russell Wilson returns next season, or the Seahawks decide to go in another direction, the Seahawks need to make plenty of changes moving forward.
