Mahomes’ toe isn’t right. After a very lackluster effort in one of the biggest games of his life, it appears Mahomes is set to go under the knife, and will be having surgery tomorrow. “Source: #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes will undergo surgery tomorrow to repair a torn plantar plate in his foot, also known as turf toe. The rehab will be several months, but he’s expected to make a full recovery. Noted foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson will perform the procedure,” NFL insider Ian Rapoport posted on his Twitter account.

But Mahomes has vehemently denied his Toe had anything to do with how poorly the Chiefs played.

For what it's worth, Patrick Mahomes said the injury didn't bother him in the AFC Championship or Super Bowl.
