Patrick Mahomes and Le’Veon Bell Are Now Following Each Other

Le’Veon Bell became a free agent when the Jets released him on Wednesday, and it doesn’t sound like he will be one for long.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that Bell currently plans to sign with either the Bills, Chiefs or Dolphins after hearing from each of those clubs since parting ways with the Jets. Per the report, a decision is expected to come as early as Thursday

Le’Veon Bell currently plans to sign with one of three teams, per source: Dolphins, Chiefs, Bills. Barring change, Bell will decide among these teams as early as today. Steelers reunion unlikely at this point.

Now there’s speculation that Bell is going to land in Kansas City.  To further fuel those rumors, the Chiefs most valuable player started following the controversial running back.

Former NFL receiver Chad Johnson weighed in:

If Le’veon Bell goes to the Chiefs we might as well send them the Lombardi trophy, as a viable threat from the backfield & slot as a receiver this signing is similar to Thanos getting the last Infinity Stone. (speaking from an offensive perspective w/ a creative coordinator)

This is very telling, and it could mean Bell will end up with the Chiefs. If you put Le’Veon Bell in an offense like the Chiefs,  expect him to produce.
