Ohio State Had Some Fun With The News Of Michigan Extending Harbaugh

Rivalries aren’t fun without a little friendly trash talk. However, the Ohio State vs. Michigan game hasn’t been much of a rivalry during the Harbaugh era. The Wolverines are 0-5 vs. Ohio State during Harbaugh’s tenure as head coach. Many Michigan fans have been losing faith in their head coach as they finished this season with a measly 2-4 record. Unfortunately for those fans, Harbaugh won’t be getting the boot quite yet.

Sideaction’s Latest:

Multiple reports late Thursday suggested that Harbaugh was close to finalizing a five-year extension that would see him make $4 million in base salary per year and up to $8 million per year in incentives. Ohio State saw the news and took it as a perfect opportunity to troll Michigan.

And if liking the tweet wasn’t enough, that isn’t even the most disrespectful part of it all. After Bleacher Report’s revelation of the news, Ohio State doubled down with a response of a smirking Trey Sermon.

Yikes. Ohio State definitely has bragging rights, but this just feels disrespectful. But when it comes to a rivalry game, anything goes. Until the Wolverines are able to top the Buckeyes in “The Game”, Ohio State has every right to keep trolling. “The Game” was inevitably cancelled this season due to COVID, however, you can chalk this up as a win for The Ohio State.
