Nick Saban’s Daughter Thinks Ohio State Is Lying About Positive COVID-19 Tests

Kristen Saban Setas, the daughter of University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban, is fed up with Ohio State. The Buckeyes football program caught her attention with their announcement that they have positive COVID-19 tests ahead of their upcoming National Championship game against Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide. The coach’s daughter took to Twitter to voice her frustration with Ohio State after multiple reports indicate that the National Championship might have to be pushed back due to positive tests in the Buckeyes’ program.

“If you’re no confident enough to play then SAY IT. I call BS on the COVID cases. They’re just worried about their QB and want him to have more time to heal. If he’s hurt put in your backup. You didn’t see us postpone the rest of the season to wait for Waddle. BYE.” Kristen Saban Setas wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

While Saban took her tweet down, she clearly stands by what she said. Here was her follow-up.

Kristen Saban Setas is obviously a little skeptical of Ohio State after Justin Fields took a shot to his mid-section during the semifinal game against Clemson. Maybe the team is holding out so he can repair those ribs? Probably not the case, but Nick Saban isn’t saying. Although his daughter didn’t stop from going on a whole tangent.

This isn’t the first time this season Ohio State has had to deal with COVID-19. The team only played in five regular season games because of positive tests within their program or their opponent’s. Hopefully the title game won’t be postponed too long, Alabama vs Ohio State should be one hell of a matchup.
