NCAA Kicked Oregon State Out of Hotel in the Middle of the Night Following Elite 8 Loss

Talk about a tough night. Last night the No.12 Oregon State Beavers took an L to the No. 2 Houston Cougars 67-61 in the Elite 8. Their Cinderella story came to an end, but it was a great run. According to Nick Daschel of the Oregonian, the NCAA didn’t have the nicest exit for the Beavers after their loss to Houston. Instead of letting the Beavs fly out the next morning, the NCAA told them to pack up and get on a 1:15 am flight back to Eugene.

The team arrived in Corvallis at 4 am Tuesday.

Twitter reacted to the news:

At the very least let them get a good night sleep after a heartbreaking loss. We know hotels cost money but how much really was saved from one night at an average hotel?
