NBA Team Hires Private Investigator To Gather Info On James Harden

Houston Rockets guard James Harden has created quite the stir to start the NBA season.

First, Harden made it very clear that he wanted out of Houston, even demanding a trade. Instead of showing up on time to training camp with the Rockets, Harden was seen out partying at clubs with rapper Lil Baby.

When Harden finally arrived in Houston, he brought the lifestyle with him, as he was seen breaching COVID protocol at a party with strippers.

According to ESPN, teams remain interested in Harden, and one team even hired a private investigator to gather intel on the superstar.

“Teams have already done their homework when it comes to Harden both on and off the court,” ESPN writer Tim Bontemps wrote. “One NBA executive told ESPN that the team had hired a private investigator to do a thorough background check, treating the process of gathering information on him like it would a draft prospect.”

When Harden is engaged in basketball, he is one of the games best, and one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history. Last season, Harden averages an incredible 34.3PPG.

If a team is willing to take the risk on Harden, the reward could be massive. The problem with James Harden is that you don’t know if you’ll be able to keep him from being a distraction.

Maybe hiring a private investigator to see what James Harden is truly all about isn’t the worst idea for any NBA team interested in acquiring him.
