LeBron James Sounded Completely Done With The Lakers Following The Loss Tuesday Night

It’s starting to look like the beginning of the end for LeBron James in Los Angeles.

On Tuesday night, it was more of the same for the makeshift “big 3” of LeBron, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis when going up against a true contender.

The Lakers were trounced by the Bucks, losing 131-116. And after the game, a completely dejected LeBron James took the podium to declare that his team was just no where near on the same level as Giannis and the Bucks.

James doesn’t even believe the Lakers have what it takes to get to Milwaukee’s level in the future.

“Do I think we can reach the level where Milwaukee is right now? No,” James said. “They’re the defending champions for a reason. I guarantee if you would have asked teams coming out of the bubble if they could get the to the level we were at when we won a championship, they would have said the same thing.”

Last week, we wrote about a report that indicated that LeBron James was looking into leaving LA in order to pair up with his son, Bronny, in the future.

“It makes sense on many levels to assume that LeBron will spend the remainder of this season and all of next season with the Lakers so that he can be close to his son all the way through high school,” MaximBet’s Chris Sheridan wrote.

“But after June of 2023 has come and gone (and James’ current contract with the Lakers will have expired), there could be a new destination on James’ landscape … provided he has not already switched teams prior to that in order to increase his chances of winning another title.”

LeBron James likely knows he won’t be winning another ring in LA this year. But maybe he also knows that in order to build another championship roster, he might have to leave the Lakers.
