LeBron James Coaching Son, Then Proceeds To Miss Final Shot

LeBron James might be knocked out of the NBA Playoffs but that isn’t stopping him from taking the court. While many fans continue to criticize James’ parent/coaching style at games, there is no denying the fact that he has a wealth of knowledge he is trying to transfer to his son, Bronny (LeBron James Jr.).

James was back in action recently coaching up Bronny before their prep school game.

It is no doubt a tough line to walk between being a basketball icon, a parent, and private coach. James’ antics on and off the high school court teaching his son definitely rub some people the wrong way, but let’s just be happy that he’s an active parent and showing up for his son.

As much as I am sure there are times Bronny loves the attention and the no doubt extra hype that comes with the name, it’s never fun when you have Sports Illustrated putting up videos of you missing game-winners. James was seen coaching and giving tips to his son prior to the final play of the game which resulted in a missed shot.

I can only imagine the pressure the Bronny has to become the “next big thing.” While he does have some incredible genes, everyone knows that good genes doesn’t guarantee you anything (CC: Wayne Gretzky and Michael Jordan).

One thing it does guarantee you is maximum exposure and a mountain of hype. I can only imagine the atmosphere at those high school games. It would be pretty cool to one day see LeBron playing with or against his son in the NBA.
