Kevin Durant Gives A Short Response To An Emotional Twitter User

Nets forward Kevin Durant still gets some heat for his decision to join the Warriors back in 2016. People continue to call him weak for joining a team he was on the cusp of beating while in Oklahoma City. Every so often KD likes to respond to the Twitter trolls to let him know how he really feels. And, well, today just happened to be one of those days.

They say if you can’t beat ’em join ’em. Kevin Durant joining the Warriors isn’t the news here. Everyone remembers his decision to make the move. The news is that salty Twitter fans are still firing at KD and he is still responding. Kevin Durant won his rings fair and square. He was a two time MVP on a team with multiple All-Stars. Had he been healthy, the Warriors very well may have won a third.

So who needs to let go of the past, the fans or Kevin Durant? Clearly, the answer is both. KD is a top talent all-time in the NBA no matter what team he plays for. When healthy, he is easily a top 5 talent in today’s NBA. These guys play to win championships, it’s that simple. Kevin Durant has accomplished that goal twice and is poised to do so again.

The Nets proved that they could be a playoff team even without KD or Kyrie Irving. Add those two talents to rising stars like Caris Levert and Jarret Allen and you’ve got a formula for a good team. If Kevin Durant can win a championship with that team then the fans will officially be silenced. Do it KD. Silence the haters.
