Kendrick Perkins Gets Blasted for Crying After Kevin Durant Called Him a ‘Sellout’

Kendrick Perkins has had a busy week after publicly criticizing Kyrie Irving for his stance against the NBA restart in Orlando at the end of July. Kevin Durant responded to Perkins by calling his former teammate “a sellout” which is just about the most ironic thing that has ever been said considering it’s coming from Kevin Durant.

The beef between Perkins and Durant stems from early January when Perk proclaimed that Russell Westbrook is the greatest player in Thunder history.

Durant responded with this hilarious shot and it escalated from there.

Considering this exchange, it’s not much of a surprise that K.D. would come to the defense of his Nets teammate and close friend Kyrie Irving. Now, the context of being called a “sellout” in Durant’s case for joining the Warriors is much different than the context being used by Durant here.

As with most things he says, Perk looks like a clown here. Known for being an enforcer in his days with the Thunder, he has thicker skin than this and he’s just putting on a show. I suppose he’s learning well from Stephen A. I mean, this is the same guy who threatened to expose Kyrie for some “hoe shit” yesterday and then deleted it promptly:
