Kelly Stafford Calls Out Ndamukong Suh Over Vendetta Against Her Husband

Ndamukong Suh and Matthew Stafford spent a lot of years as leaders together in the Detroit Lions locker room. But it appears that somewhere along the way, the relationship got stained.

The animosity boiled over Sunday when Suh’s Buccaneers met Stafford and the Rams in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. When Suh hit Stafford in the first quarter, he was called for a taunting penalty after getting up in his former quarterback’s face.

It appeared that Ndamukonk Suh was trying to tell the ref that Matthew Stafford kicked him on his way back to his feet.

According to Kelly Stafford, the beef between Ndamukong Suh and Matthew Stafford has been going on for a little while now. And she declared that she has no idea where it originated.

“Not really sure why Suh doesn’t like Matthew, but Suh doesn’t like Matthew,” she said on her podcast. “And it has become this weird dynamic in the past couple years like Suh will come out in the media and stay stuff, whatever, it doesn’t even matter, it doesn’t phase Matthew, it is what it is.”

Kelly Stafford would go on to describe how Matthew Stafford responded when she asked her husband why Ndamukong Suh has held a grudge against him for so long.

“So then I asked Matthew last night (Sunday) and he was like, ‘honestly, I don’t really know what happened. I didn’t really know who tackled me. But I remember getting put to the ground and someone on me and got him off me to try to get to the next play, and then Suh was in my face telling me he was going to (expletive) me up.’ And I was like (laughing), ‘What? I don’t understand.’ He’s like, ‘who’s gonna understand it, whatever, it doesn’t matter,’” he said.

We’ll see if Ndamukong Suh has a response to Kelly Stafford painting him as the bad guy in this whole story.
