New Orleans Saints Owner Gayle Benson Stopped An Attempted Carjacking

New Orleans Saints Owner Gayle Benson is not someone to be fucked with. According to police, Benson was driving in her car on Oct. 10 when someone in a White Nissan Titan pulled up next to her and tried to snag her ride.

According to Nola.com, the man entered Benson’s car, but fled once she continued to scream and order him to leave her vehicle.

“While she was very shaken at the time, she was unharmed and is doing fine,” Saints spokesman Greg Bensel said in a statement Friday. “She wanted to send her sincere gratitude to the men and women of the New Orleans Police Department that responded so quickly and professionally.”

Bensel said he couldn’t comments further, as it is an ongoing police matter.

The 73-year old Gayle Benson became the owner of the Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans in 2018 following her husband Tom Benson’s death.

Luckily for everyone, Benson seems to be just fine. She might need some time to cool down from a truly scary moment though. You gotta give her props though, she wasn’t giving up her car without a fight.
