Justin Fields Is Already Throwing Shade At The Green Bay Packers

When the Chicago Bears traded up to select Justin Fields in the first round of the NFL Draft, it gave Bears fans some hope. Maybe this could be the guy who can actually take control of the QB position in Chicago. Maybe this can be the guy who can take the Bears over the Packers in the NFC North after years and years of coming up short to their fierce rival to the north.

Bears fans are already in love with Justin Fields, and he hasn’t even taken a snap yet. His latest comments about the Packers are just going to make fans love him even more.

Fields was mic’d up during OTA’s while he was having a friendly chat with quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo. The coach asked Justin Fields where his center from Ohio State, Josh Meyers, got drafted.

When Fields responded, “the wrong team”, DeFilippo might not have known what he was talking about, but Bears fans already knew Fields was throwing shade at the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers selected Josh Meyers in the second round of the NFL Draft.

Can Justin Fields Be The Bears’ Savior?

With Aaron Rodgers still away from the Packers, and nobody knows when, or if, he’ll return to Green Bay, Bears fans might actually be more satisfied with their quarterback situation than the Packers for the first time in very long time.

Since Brett Favre Passed the baton to Aaron Rodgers, the Bears have gone through an array of rag-tag quarterbacks who couldn’t get the job done.

Justin Fields is dynamic, driven, and he might finally be the quarterback that the Chicago Bears have been trying to find for many, many years.
