Former NBA champion JR Smith is one of the most entertaining players in the history of the league.

Not only was he fun to watch when he got hot with the jumper, but his blunders were insanely comical, as well.

Being as no NBA team has been interested in Smith for a little while, and he’s only 36-years old, he’s deciding to try a different sport.

It was announced on Wednesday that JR Smith has enrolled at North Carolina A&T, and will try to make the school’s golf team.

Fans immediately reacted the the JR Smith news.

JR Smith has shared his love for the game of golf in the past, and says he leaned how to play from NBA legend Moses Malone.

“Golf is one of those games that can have you feeling really high or it can bring you down to your knees and humble you,” Smith told WFMY.

“To have that feeling and knowing that all of the game is pretty much on my own hands and I don’t have to worry about teammates to pass the ball to, receiving passes and playing defense — I can just play my game and have fun.”

There’s no telling how this whole JR Smith golf thing will end. But one thing is for sure, it’s bound to be entertaining.
