Joel Embiid Sends Cryptic ‘Charmin Soft’ Tweet And Everyone’s Convinced He’s Slamming Ben Simmons

Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons have had a tumultuous tenure together in Philadelphia.

Although it’s no secret that they’ve never been the best of friends, Embiid was willing to fly to Simmons over the offseason to convince him to re-join the Sixers despite his trade demands.

Unfortunately, Ben Simmons wouldn’t see Joel Embiid. And although he returned to practice for the Sixers earlier in the season, Simmons has maintained that he’s not going to suit up for Philly anytime soon.

On Thursday night, Embiid posted an image of Charmin toilet paper that has many people thinking he’s throwing some more shade at Simmons.

The comment section was blowing up after Joel Embiid’s apparent dig at Ben Simmons.

With Ben Simmons away from Joel Embiid and the Sixers, Shaq weighed in earlier in the week to slam the AWOL point guard.

ā€œI stay on big guys because I care about them. I want them to play a certain way, I want them to play at a certain level. The difference between [Embiid] and his soft partner [Simmons] is, he can take criticism without being a crybaby and he still wants to play,ā€ Oā€™Neal said. ā€œMe and Charles, weā€™ve been on [Embiid] and we stay on him.

ā€œWe told him to his face what he needs to do. He didnā€™t cry, he didnā€™t say ā€˜I want to get tradedā€™, he didnā€™t complain about mistreatment. And thatā€™s the difference. Thatā€™s why I like and respect him. The other guy, I donā€™t respect himā€¦ Great players get criticized. But the great players also step up to the criticism and perform. So this other guy, I donā€™t respect him. I would get rid of him.ā€

After spending an entire half of the season without Ben Simmons, it looks like Joel Embiid is done giving any f-ks about Ben Simmons.
