Jerry Jones Has An Honest Reaction To Dak Prescott’s Recent “Slump”

Dak Prescott came out of the gates hot this season. But as the year has gone on, he’s seemed to be getting into a little bit of a funk, and it’s not lost on Jerry Jones that his QB isn’t in the same place that he was in the early-going.

Despite having a 9-4 record – being in the driver’s seat in the NFC East – the Cowboys have gone 3-3 in their last six games, showing some issues that could haunt them once they play serious games down the stretch.

During an appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Jerry Jones was asked about Dak Prescott being in somewhat of a “slump”.

“I don’t want to say that, slump, but that’s probably fair,” Jones explained, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer. “But it’s such a multi-faceted evaluation that I would say our offense is definitely away from where we were playing 5 and 6 games ago.”

Jerry Jones’ admission on Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense isn’t exactly anything other than common sense.

The team was consistently dropping over 35 points on their opponents during the beginning of the season. But during their latest four-game snag, have only reached over 30 point once – in their loss against the Raiders.

For the Cowboys to reach their Super Bowl aspirations this season, Jerry Jones knows he’s going to need Dak Prescott and his offense to score at the same clip they were for the first few weeks.
