Ja’Marr Chase Was Completely Wide Open For A Touchdown On The 4th And 1 Play That Ended The Super Bowl

Ja’Marr Chase will undoubtedly be left wondering what could have been if Joe Burrow had enough time to find him on fourth down of the Super Bowl last night.

With the game on the line, Rams superstar Aaron Donald got home on Burrow, forcing an incompletion. But many were quick to notice that Chase was streaking down the sidelines by himself after cornerback Jalen Ramsey fell down on the play.

Unfortunately, Aaron Donald didn’t allow Joe Burrow enough time to find his favorite target, Ja’Marr Chase, wide open down the field for a TD, or we’d be in a very different situation today.

But as it stands, the fourth down was Donald’s moment, and he made sure everyone knew it after making the game-sealing play.

The win marked the first Super Bowl victory for Aaron Donald, Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay. And while Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase had a magical run to the Super Bowl, Sunday just wasn’t there day.

Something tells me they’ll be back, though.
