Is Bryon Leftwich headed home?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator is expected to interview for the Jaguars’ head-coaching job according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Buccaneers OC Byron Leftwich is expected to interview for the Jaguars head coaching job as early as Friday, per sources. The Jaguars requested permission to talk with him during the regular season window. Expectation is that both sides will discuss the job at some point soon.

Tom Brady has already gave Leftwich a ringing endorsement.
“Byron has been amazing for me to work with, and I know he’ll have a lot of [head-coaching] opportunities,” Brady said last month. “He’ll do a great job.”

Jacksonville selected Byron Leftwich with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, and he played for the Jaguars from 2003-06.
Leftwich started his coaching career with Bruce Arians’ Cardinals staff back in 2016, Leftwich joined him to Tampa in 2019.
