Dak Prescott Lands a Long Term Deal with a Beer Company

Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott has been trying to land a long term deal with his team for what feels like a century. He still has nothing on paper long term with the Cowb0ys. At least he now has a long term deal with Anheuser-Busch. Dak recently inked a big deal with the famous beer brand.

Via Terry Lefton of Sports Business Journal:

The folks behind brands like Budweiser, Bud Light, and Bud Light Seltzer have signed Prescott to a multi-year contract.

Said an unnamed source with knowledge of the deal to Lefton of Prescott’s latest sponsorship arrangement: “He’s signing a long-term deal with America’s beer, before he signs one with America’s Team.”

Making the relationship more significant is the fact that the Cowboys have a 41-year exclusive sponsorship arrangement with Molson Coors.

Dak played on the franchise tag for $31.4 million last season.  If the Cowboys can’t work something out with Dak once again, he’ll play at around $38 million.

So no long term deal, but he’s still making a ton of money in short term.

At least he has his future secured with America’s Beer.
