Cincinnati Bearcats Offensive Lineman James Hudson Ejected for Targeting

It’s not too often you see an  offensive lineman get ejected from a college football game for a targeting penalty. That’s what happened in the Cincinnati Bearcats game today when Bearcats offensive lineman James Hudson was ejected for throwing a late hit out of bounds on Georgia defensive back Tyson Campbell.

After officials reviewed the hit, they ejected him.

Getting down the field as quickly as he did is impressive, but yeah, that’s targeting all day. The Cincinnati Bearcats lineman deserves what he got for this one, good job by the refs for calling an oddball of a penalty.
