Chris Webber Is Getting Trashed On Social Media For His Awful Announcing

NBA fans are in heaven right now as the season is underway, but unfortunately they had to listen to Chris Webber talk for the entire first game. Webber was put on the call for the Nets-Warriors game, and fans took to social media early and often to call out Webber for his terrible insight.

It didn’t do Chris Webber any favors that the Nets absolutely dominated the Golden State Warriors. If it was an entertaining game fans might have worried a little bit less about Webber’s commentary, and a little bit more about the game.

I will say, having to wait extra long for the NBA season to start, only to be rewarded with Chris Webber calling the first game was a little bit tough. The man can’t really do it, and it doesn’t really seem like he’s getting any better with more time on the job.

As for the game itself, it looks like the Brooklyn Nets are legit, and they might only be getting better. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant teamed up to take care of Steph and the Warriors like it was nothing.

The Nets are going to be a very fun team to watch this year. Well, as long as Chris Webber isn’t on the call.
