Chase Claypool And Other Steelers Throw Massive Shade At NFL For Canceling Thanksgiving Game Against Ravens

Chase Claypool has had a phenomenal rookie season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Claypool has been a tremendous asset to a very strong Steelers receiving core. They are a big reason why the Steelers sit at 10-0 currently. Unfortunately for Claypool and fans everywhere, the NFL has decided to push back the Steelers-Ravens game from tomorrow to Sunday. This decision came after multiple Ravens players tested positive for COVID-19.

“This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel and in consultation with medical experts,” the NFL said in a statement.

Chase Claypool didn’t seem very happy with this decision.

Fellow receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster also trashed the NFL for canceling the Thanksgiving game.

Tight end Eric Ebron wasn’t happy, either.

Yeah, the Steelers wanted to play on Thanksgiving.

I’m sure it must be hard news for Chase Claypool and the other Steelers and Ravens players. Every kid that grows up watching football dreams of playing on Thanksgiving Day. They were going to have the opportunity to put on a show in front of a nation-wide audience.

With all that being said, 2020 has had many of us making sacrifices. It sucks, but Claypool and the Steelers are gonna have to shake it off. They’ll have another chance to play on Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, it will not be this year due to COVID-19.
