Brett Favre Reveals Private Texts Between He and Aaron Rodgers

If anyone knows what Aaron Rodgers is currently going thru it’s Brett Favre. Favre was once peeved that the Packers drafted Aaron Rodgers as his eventual replacement. Now Favre is revealing some texts Rodgers sent him.  In Favre’s ‘Bolling with Farve’ podcast,  he says Aaron is not going to flip in his decision to leave the Packers.

“Knowing Aaron, and I think I know him fairly well, if he has a grudge, whether it be against the organization or a player or an arch-rival, or family, friends, he ain’t budging,” Favre said. “I don’t see him coming back and saying — if this is not resolved, however, whatever the issue is — if it’s not resolved, or even if it’s resolved but he feels like they have one up on him, he ain’t gonna play. Knowing Aaron, he would sit. Now, he would forego a lot of money, but he’s also got a lot money.”

Favre also talked with “Wilde & Tausch” show on 100.5 ESPN Madison and shared a recent text exchange he had with Rodgers.

Favre said he sent Rodgers a text: “I said, ‘Hey, am I going to see you playing for the Saints this year,’ just joking.

He said Rodgers replied: “Hey buddy, I don’t believe that’s going to happen. … Thanks for checking on me. I’ll touch base with you after this is all over.” https://t.co/hAMbw3isC8

Favre thinks Rodgers will not be returning to Green Bay:

"Will he just swallow his pride and come in? Maybe. But I don’t see that happened. If there’s not a trade, my gut tells me he’d rather sit out and play. That’s just my gut. I think you guys know Aaron fairly well enough to feel the same way.”

If anyone can convince Rodgers to stay in Green Bay, it’s probably not going to be Favre.
