Attorney Posts Alleged Deshaun Watson Text Messages to Masseuse

On Thursday night, Houston-area attorney Tony Buzbee released text messages that are allegedly from Deshaun Watson. Buzbee is claiming that these messages pertain to the multiple lawsuits that have been filed against Watson. In one of them, Watson allegedly apologizes to a woman who gave him a massage for making her feel uncomfortable. Watson denied the first accusation made against him earlier this week, accusing Buzbee of making a “baseless six-figure settlement demand.” However, he is yet to respond to the recent allegations. See Attorney Tom Buzbee’s post with the screenshots below.

The Houston Texans recently released an official statement regarding the allegations against quarterback Deshaun Watson.

“The NFL informed us today that they will conduct an investigation into the allegations made in the civil lawsuits filed against Deshaun Watson,” the Texans said in a statement. “We will stay in close contact with the league as they do.”

It is a troubling situation Deshaun Watson finds himself in, to say the least. The text messages suggest that something went wrong in the massage and that Deshaun Watson is fully aware of it. Whatever the case, things are starting to look grimmer for Watson. Buzbee said that he will be releasing more text messages on Friday.

Let’s make one thing clear before going too far. These text messages, if legitimate, are not, by themselves, incriminating of Deshaun Watson. Making someone feel uncomfortable can happen naturally and is not an admission of sexual assault.

The NFL is currently investigating the multiple claims against Watson. The troubling part for Deshaun Watson is that he could face disciplinary action, even though the lawsuits are of a civil nature. I still have lots of questions and will not be the one to point a finger at this time. Look out for more information on the matter as it comes available.
