James Harden Declares Himself As The NBA MVP

Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden hasn’t really been in the MVP conversation all year, but that doesn’t stop him from knowing he is the most valuable guy in the league.

While many NBA experts have Nikola Jokic, LeBron James, and Joel Embiid over James Harden, he still thinks he is the best player in the entire league.

“I feel like I am the MVP,” Harden said after the Nets’ 113-111 win over the Pistons. “It’s that simple. I don’t want to speak individually on myself, but I’m just going to leave it at that. I just try to go out there every single night and give my teammates everything that I can bring to the game.”

James Harden has definitely shined for the Nets in the absence of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Harden went off against the Pistons, scoring 44 points and notching 14 rebounds and eight assists. Since joining Brooklyn, Harden has reminded fans that he is still one of the most dominant players in the NBA.

Don’t be surprised if James Harden sneaks his way into the MVP conversation by the end of the year.
