Sidney Crosby Injury Status Revealed Ahead Of Game 7

Will Sidney Crosby be available for the Pittsburgh Penguins for Game 7 tonight?

The Penguins captain has been out since taking a high hit in the Rangers series, and has been in concussion protocol for the time being.

However, a new report is indicating that there’s a good chance Sidney Crosby gives it a go for the win-or-go-home game.

Per Penguins beat writer Josh Yohe:

“I expect Sidney Crosby and Tristan Jarry to play tonight, barring any issues this morning,” Yohe said this morning.

Prior to Game 7, Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan wouldn’t commit or rule out Sidney Crosby.

“He’s in a good place,” Sullivan said of Crosby Via CBS Sports. “He’s doing his very best to get himself back and ready as quickly as he can. We’ll see how that process goes.”

It sure sounds like Sidney Crosby is going to do everything in his power to take the ice tonight, which shouldn’t really come as a surprise to anyone at this point of his career.
