Video of Tom Brady Catching up With Odell Beckham Jr. During Pregame Leads to Heavy Speculation

Is Odell Beckham Jr. the next veteran NFL player Tom Brady is going to recruit to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

On Sunday, OBJ was in attendance for the Buccaneers- Saints game in New Orleans. And when Brady noticed Odell during pregame, he went over to talk for a while.

Check it out:

Of course fans were speculating about Brady recruiting OBJ to join him in Tampa Bay. And the Bucs QB could really use his services today especially.

After announcing that Chris Godwin would not be available after suffering a hamstring injury during the Week 1 win over the Dallas Cowboys, it was revealed before the game that veteran wideout Julio Jones will also be unavailable thanks to a knee injury from last week.

Since he suffered a torn ACL in last year’s Super Bowl, Beckham remains a free agent. And he’s likely still taking his time before making a decision on his future post injury recovery.

Last season, OBJ had 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns with the Rams in the eight games he played in after being traded from the Browns midseason. He really asserted himself in the playoffs, as well, when he hauled in 21 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns before going down in the first half of the Super Bowl.

While many teams would likely like to have Beckham on their side whenever he returns to action, the early front-runner has to still be the Rams given the relationship already in place.

But if Brady tries to court the veteran receiver, you’d have to imagine OBJ will pick up the phone.
